Stanridge Custom Fixie
The last bike shop I was working at ordered one of these Bicycles. It was poorly built. I hate to call out a bad construction but I found many issues with the finalized product. The chainstay on the drive side was not dimpled so no crankset would work on the frame, the paint was poorly done with tape overrun marks in many places and the brazing on the headtube was over filed, the headtube was about 35 mm to long, the repainted Enve fork had multiple paint scratches, drips and a bubble under the brake mount, and the geometry was completely wrong. My old boss was an asshole and never did anything good, except listen to me when I told him to send the bike back. I have seen many handbuilt bikes at NAHBS and this bike was not worthy, he may be doing better, but after dealing with stanridge, who told me to hammer the chainstay then send it back for paint…I lost all respect for this company.
